Guangzhou Xiyang Electronics Co., Ltd. (Xiyang Industrial Control) has implemented a basic dynamic environmental monitoring system that primarily collects data from the surrounding environment of user equipment, including fire alarms, intelligent access control, water immersion, cabinet temperature regulation, user equipment monitoring, remote UPS energy storage charging and discharging, and remote control of cabinet power distribution settings
1. Environmental safety monitoring: Collect fire alarm signals in real-time (such as smoke detectors, temperature sensors), and immediately report alarms when a fire is detected. It also supports water immersion detection, monitoring water-prone areas such as computer rooms and cabinet bottoms through leakage sensors to prevent liquid infiltration that could cause equipment short circuits or damage.
2. Intelligent access control management: The system can integrate with devices such as door sensors, electric locks, card readers, or password readers to verify and record the identities of personnel entering and exiting. It also allows remote control of door lock switching, and, in conjunction with door sensor status feedback, forms a basic access management and security linkage (such as linkage with fire alarms - automatically releasing access control in case of a fire alarm).
3. Cabinet environment regulation: In response to temperature changes within the cabinet, the system can automatically control the start/stop and speed adjustment of cooling fans or air conditioning equipment according to preset strategies, maintaining equipment operation within a reasonable temperature range; some simple implementations also support manual remote adjustment of temperature setpoints.
4. User equipment monitoring: Monitor the operational status of key loads such as hosts and network equipment carried in the cabinet (such as heartbeat detection, connectivity testing, and key indicator light status). When equipment is abnormal, an alarm can be triggered to facilitate quick positioning by operation and maintenance personnel.
5. Remote UPS and power distribution regulation: Support remote charging and discharging management for energy storage UPS (such as starting/stopping battery pack equalizing charge, floating charge switching, and simulating power outage testing). At the same time, it can remotely control the opening and closing of intelligent PDUs or power distribution switches inside the cabinet, enabling on-demand power supply restart or adjusting output power distribution.
Facing applications in various scenarios, the dynamic environmental monitoring system primarily achieves basic functions such as multi-module management, data collection, alarming, configuration, and analysis, and can also facilitate cluster management across multiple sites
