Palletizing machine and MES docking scheme

In large manufacturing enterprises, enhancing the automation of industrial production lines is crucial for improving capital utilization, reducing worker labor intensity, and boosting product quality.


The project involves developing and upgrading the PLC program for palletizing machines, establishing a warehouse location management system, and acquiring information hardware such as vehicle-mounted computers and TV display boards.


These measures aim to achieve information-based warehouse location management, integrate the front-end and back-end information systems of finished products, and ensure full visibility of the physical and information flows in direct order dispatching, thereby accelerating the turnover of finished products and enhancing customer service quality. The following figure illustrates this:

1. Palletizing of finished products

By scanning the code to parse the bar code information, identify the order type and product model; synchronize the palletizing machine program to control the palletizing machine to distinguish the order and model for palletizing; trigger the alarm device when the palletizing is abnormal, and guide manual processing;

2. Palletizing robot palletizing information acquisition

The palletizing machine generates a pallet number 001 after palletizing one pallet;
Obtain whether the palletizing robot is stacking to the left or right 001;
Obtain the quantity of items already stacked in the left and right stacks;
The information of article 1, 2 and 3 can be combined arbitrarily to communicate with MES system through the interface;
It is necessary to be able to store the pallet combination information for more than 3 days;
Pallet board can display the information of order products, left and right pallet numbers, and provide guidance for clamping sequence;
The grating at the pickup point senses the goods and feeds back the information to the pallet board. The color change of the corresponding pallet number indicates that the goods have been picked up.
