System Survey :
With the rapid economic development of our country, the construction of expressways has become one of the most popular projects. The toll collection system, one of the four major electromechanical projects, is currently the core component of the electromechanical engineering in domestic expressways and is also the most mature and effective system. To support the implementation of the Regulations on the Management of Over-dimensional Transport Vehicles on Highways, to effectively mitigate the damage caused by oversized vehicles, and to enhance the scientific management of highway maintenance, our company has developed a dynamic road vehicle weighing and toll collection system with independent intellectual property rights. This system can perform dynamic axle weight measurement and whole vehicle weight measurement, suitable for over-dimensional control and weight-based toll collection on highways. It can also be used in other scenarios requiring dynamic axle weight measurement and whole vehicle measurement.
System Requirements :
The highway weight-based toll collection system must operate stably and continuously for extended periods in harsh conditions, including high and low temperatures, humidity, electromagnetic interference, dust, and vibrations. The system must have a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of over 30,000 hours and a Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) of less than one hour. To ensure the system effectively performs its toll collection and monitoring functions, an industrial control computer is essential for system control. This includes using industrial enclosures with enhanced moisture, dust, and electromagnetic protection, industrial motherboards that can operate continuously over a wider temperature range and withstand vibration, and various industrial-grade control cards and management modules. System Composition:
The highway vehicle weighing system is composed of dynamic scales, vehicle separator, axle recognizer, weighing controller, weighing management computer system, etc. (see the upper right figure)

The vehicle separator is mainly used to provide the signal of vehicle entering and leaving the weighing system, and complete the separation of vehicles. The effective detection height is 0.5~ 1.7m.
The axle recognizer consists of an axle detector and its controller, which is used to identify the type of vehicle axle passing by.
The weighing control cabinet is equipped with weighing controller, power supply, signal controller, wheel and shaft recognizer control circuit, protection circuit and other units. The cabinet adopts IP65 protection grade.
The weighing management computer system is the operation platform of this system. The system realizes seamless interconnection with the charging system through the network database.
